{% step %}

### Connect and Configure

Navigate to [fluxflow.fi](https://fluxflow.fi/) and connect your wallet. Ensure you are connected to the **Fluent Testnet**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Asset Selection

* **From:** The asset you currently hold.
* **To:** The asset you wish to acquire.\
  Flux will display the real-time exchange rate and estimated output.
  {% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Execution Parameters

Before confirming, review your **Trade Interface**:

| Parameter        | Explanation                                           |
| ---------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| **Rate** | The current price relative to the market. |
| **Price Impact** | The estimated slippage based on your trade size. |
| **Max Slippage** | The maximum price movement you are willing to accept. |
| {% endstep %}    |                                                       |

{% step %}

### Direct Confirmation

Click **Swap** and authorize the transaction in your wallet. Your trade is executed with precision on the Fluent network.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Slippage Matters:** For volatile assets, consider increasing your slippage tolerance slightly to ensure transaction success during high-volume events.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://fluxflow.gitbook.io/docs/tutorials/trading-swapping.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
